Google Pays Tribute to Hanif Muhammad With Doodle on his 84th Birthday

Today, Google honored a Pakistani cricketer Hanif Muhammad With Doodle on his 84th Birthday. He was born on December 21, 1934, in Junagadh, India.
In the past, Google also paid tribute to other well-known and legendary personalities of Pakistan such as Abdul Sattar Edhi, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Noor Jehan, Nazia Hassan, and many others.

He was the first player of a Pakistani cricket team who played the longest innings in Test history. He played 55 Test matches between the 1952–53 season and the 1969–70 season for the cricket team of Pakistan. He was considered one of the best batsmen in the world at that time when the Pakistani cricket team played very little Test matches. In 17 year of his career, Hanif Muhammad played only 55 Test matches.
He was honored with a title of the original Little Master. Later this title was given to Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar. Hanif Muhammad was the first Pakistani cricketer who to scored a triple hundred in a Test match.
Abdul Aziz, an Afghan cricket player, was the trainer of Hanif Muhammad. He made 337 runs against West Indies in a six-day test at Bridgetown in 1957/58. Overall, he made 55 first-class centuries and finished with a strong first-class career average of 52.32. He died on August 11, 2016, in Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi.
