After entertaining cinegoers in Pakistan, the animated feature film Allahyar and The Legend of Markhor wooed the audience in international forums as well.
Recently, the movie was screened at the South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF) and won the Best Feature Film in the Audience Choice category.
The makers of the movie took to their Facebook account and shared the news with the nation.
Last month, the feature film also bagged the Monolith Award award at the first Infinity Film Festival, held at Beverly Hills, California and we cannot be any happier.
The production house of the movie, 3rd World Studios, took to its Facebook account and shared the good news. They wrote:
We are honored to be the recipient of the Prestigious Monolith Award for content, “Celebrating Story Advanced by Technology.” We would like to thank everyone who believed in our vision and supported us.
We must say, the Monolith Award is a huge achievement for 3rd World Studios, they really made Pakistanis proud in such big forums. Indeed, this has really boosted the image of Pakistani movies for the global film audience and industry.
The movie was released in February this year and proved to be a fun film not just for kids but adults as well.
The film was directed by Uzair Zaheer Khan and he was joined by Azfar Jafri (director of Janaan) in the cast. The film also featured the voices of Natasha Ejaz Khan, Ali Noor, Arshad Mehmud to name a few.
