According to a 9to5Mac report, Apple sent messages to musicians, in which they mentioned changes to Apple Music Connect. In the message, they informed musicians that they won’t be able to post to Apple Music Connect from December 13, 2018. Moreover, the previously uploaded content will be available until May 24, 2019, But in May 2019 the Apple Music Connect will be shut down and all the previous content will disappear.
Apple Music Connect will not be available anymore and that’s why Apple is now pushing people towards “Personalized Artist Radio” stations and redesigned pages for musicians.
Apple Music still occupies some social features that include Friends Mix, a frequently updated playlist full of songs. Moreover, you will also be able to see a highlight of the albums of your Apple Music friends.
