Model Village Built by Pakistan Army in Baluchistan Handed over to Families

The village has all basic amenities including school, market, water supply system and solar-based electricity.

In 2013, the people of Awan District of Mashkai were unfortunate victims of a devastating earthquake, which displaced most of the families in the region. With nowhere to call home, these people were left alone on their own until the Pak Army decided to intervene.
Pakistan Army has built an entire village from the ground up for these poor and unfortunate families in the Awaran district of Mashkai. The army handed over the village to the people who deserved it today.
The model village created by the army has all basic amenities including a school, market, water supply system, and solar-powered electricity. Just look at the massive project in the pictures and video below.

According to ISPR, the mega project was built on a self-help basis by the army in just six months of time. After the completion, the locals are completely satisfied with the efforts made.
The village has a total area of 0.056678km. The project began in May 2018 and now has a total of 75 houses with basic facilities. A sports facility and children play area has also been recently added to the village. Keys to the houses and shops have been handed to deserving families, giving them new hope and a new life.
