We all know that the company launched Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 back in October. At the time of its launch, Xiaomi claimed that Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G Version will arrive next year. A few days back, a photo surfaced on Weibo revealing the 5G variant of the handset. Recently, we came to know that Xiaomi demoed its Mi Mix 3 smartphone with 5G connectivity and Snapdragon X50 modem at the annual Partner Conference held in Beijing by China Mobile.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G Version Will Feature Snapdragon 855 Chipset

The phone will have almost the same specs and design as that of the regular MI Mix 3. However, it will be powered by Snapdragon 855.

According to the company, the Mi Mix 3 5G variant will be a combo of the new Qualcomm chipset and its next-gen modem. It will feature in-house antenna switching technologies to reach download speeds of 2 Gbps. Xiaomi  Is expected to launch the phone in Europe in Q1 2019.
