The latest update allows YouTube users to see a list of recommended videos. This list is shown on the Download page below any video, which you have already downloaded for offline view. However, the case is that these recommendations will not be automatically downloaded. You will have to tap the download icon if you want to download any recommended videos.
- Head to profile
- Tap Settings
- Click Backgrounds & Downloads
- Toggle “Recommend Downloads” OFF or ON position
Once disabled, the download recommendations will never pop up on the Downloads page. In addition to that, YouTube also released a new feature this week for iOS devices. YouTube for iOS has got Support for Navigating Gestures. However, in the near future, this feature will also make its way to Android phones. Through new horizontal swiping gesture iPhone users are able to move forward and backward in the videos. Moreover, with the help of swiping forward, users are able to go to the next recommended video as well. Furthermore, in order to go to the last video they watched, users only have to swipe back.
