Xiaomi Mi 9 SE was launched back in Feb. According to the reports, it was said that the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE would be available for purchase on Thursday, March 14. However, that didn’t happen. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Sales got canceled due to insufficient stock. Recently, Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun, announced that the phone will now go on sale on Tuesday, March 19.

Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a bit smaller as compared to its regular version. It has a 5.97″ AMOLED panel with a waterdrop notch on best and slightly thicker bezel on the bottom. Moreover, it is the first handset that comes with Snapdragon 712 chipset. So, it has a slightly faster CPU that is built using the 10nm FiNFET process. Furthermore, its modem supports all the usual Wi-Fi standards, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual LTE. In addition to all this, it comes with 6 GB RAM and 64/128 GB storage.
For photography lovers, the smartphone sports a 13 MP ultra wide-angle lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The front-facing selfie snapper is 20 MP with plenty of Beauty filters. Moreover, the handset comes with fast-charging support. It features a 3,070 mAh battery to keep the lights on. However, the handset does not have a 3.5 mm audio jack, so you’ll have to rely either on the USB-C port or wireless headphones. Other features of the handset include the Game Turbo booster, latest MIUI 10 and an NFC chip. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is the lite version of Mi 9 having some amazing specs in reasonable price.

The smartphone will be available in Blue, Violet, and Black color. Moreover, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Special Edition will cost between CNY1,999 (PKR 41,000) and CNY2,299 (47,500).
