Google Maps Speed Limit Feature rolls out in new Countries

A few weeks back, Google Maps launched the much-awaited speed limit feature. Keeping in view the ever-growing accidents on roads due to over speeding, Google was working on Speed limit feature from some months now. As the feature was in the testing phase, only small chunks of people were able to access it.

Google speed limit feature is quite user-friendly. The over all idea is that when you are driving and using Google maps to know about any location, it will also display your speed limit along. The speed limit would be shown at the corner of the screen. So, after looking it users will be able to know if he is exceeding the speed limit which will save him from accidents and challans.

The speed limit feature was launched in these countries initially: Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the UK, and the US. However, the countries who had not received it were waiting anxiously.

Today, Speed control feature is rolled out for more countries. The new countries to get this feature are Pakistan, India, Japan. Saudi Arabia, and Zimbabwe. People from these countries, who still have not received this feature need to wait for more couple of days as usually the app features are launched in phases.
