After Pakistan’s back-to-back victories against India and New Zealand, Karachi University has announced full scholarships for all players of the Pakistan T20 World Cup squad.
Professor Khalid Iraqi, Karachi University’s VC, revealed that former Pakistan captain and current part of the T20 World Cup squad Sarfraz Ahmed is already a student at the university.
He also said that if any members of the Pakistan T20 World Cup squad want to study at Karachi University, the university will cover all of their academic expenditures, including captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan.
The vice chancellor of Karachi University claimed that the Pakistani squad had captured the nation’s hearts by putting on impressive overall performances against two of the tournament’s strongest teams.
