To go along with its premium 14.2-inch Matebook X Pro Windows Laptop and P50 Pocket foldable phone, Huawei unveiled a new pair of HarmonyOS-powered smart glasses on December 23rd.
MateBook X Pro 2022
As of this writing, Huawei’s MateBook X Pro 2022 is the company’s newest ultraportable computer. Rocket Lake 11th generation chipsets and a 14-inch 90Hz touchscreen display with 3120 x 2080 resolution are included in the laptop.

Pre-installed with Windows 10, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 sports an Intel Iris Xe integrated GPU, 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, and TB M2 SSD. Samsung displays will be used in Xiaomi’s next foldable smartphone, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.
The MateBook X Pro has a 60Wh battery and a 90W GaN USB-C charger, making it one of the lightest and thinnest laptops on the market. The MateBook X Pro has a maximum brightness of 500 nits and four USB-C ports and a headphone jack. It covers the entire P3 colour gamut.
HarmonyOS-powered Smart Glasses
The Boston, Wellingtons, and Aviators frames are all available in the latest version of Huawei’s smart glasses. Prescription lenses and sunshades are available for the glasses.

For hands-free access to the Huawei Celia virtual assistant, the smart glasses feature powerful 128mm speakers and microphones. With HarmonyOS, the glasses can be used by anyone who is constantly on the move.
Health monitoring for the eyes, as well as posture correction, are included in these devices. Battery life is 16 hours of mixed-use, with 4.5 hours of talk time and up to 6 hours of music playback, rated IPX4 splash-proof.
At a retail price of CNY 9,499 ($1,490), the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 with a Core i5, 16GB RAM, and 512GB internal storage is available. However, for CNY 12,499 ($1,961), you can get the Core i7 version with 1TB storage.
