Oppo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, just unveiled the Reno7 line of devices. Oppo Reno7 New Year Edition is the latest addition to the series. A Red Velvet colour and a Tiger logo on the back of the brand name are expected in this new edition, as 2022 is known in China as the Year of the Tiger, according to the Chinese zodiac.
Storage Capacity and Price
A 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option will be available for CNY 2,699 on the Oppo Reno7 New Year Edition. On the other hand, if you want the top-of-the-line 12GB/256GB model, you’ll have to pay CNY 3,299 for it.

Availability of Oppo Reno7 New Year Edition
Pre-orders for the Reno7 New Year Edition will begin on December 27 on Oppo’s official website in China, but there is no word on a global release date. However, Oppo may release the Reno7 without the Tiger logo and in red when it goes on sale around the world anyway.

Design and OS
The Tiger logo and the red colour of the Reno7 are the only new features. Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 processor, 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 are all included in the new version.
Camera
There will be a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens on the back of this new edition. Additionally, the punch hole will feature a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery
It is expected to have a 4500mAh battery that can charge at 60W, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
