Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (10.8″) launched with Enhanced Specs

The new and enhanced Galaxy Tab A8 10.8″ has been added to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A range. With a larger display, quicker processor, and more multitasking capabilities, the tablet is intended to let you study and work from home.

With a screen size of 10.5-inches, the new LCD panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio, 1,920 by 1,200 pixels resolution, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Dolby Atmos quad-speaker system is included in the package.

A 10 percent boost in CPU and GPU performance is provided by the Unisoc Tiger T618 12nm chipset. Up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage are available, compared to the previous model’s 64GB. Additionally, a microSD card slot is provided.

The 7,040mAh battery supports 15W fast charging, but you only get a 7.5W charger in the package with the device.

With Android 11, the tablet comes preloaded with One UI 3.1.1. Floating windows, split screen multitasking, and Samsung’s Drag & Split functionality are all included.

Only an 8MP rear-facing camera with autofocus and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls are available. The selfie camera uses a fixed focus lens.

Until the end of December, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.8″ will be available in Gray, Silver, and a brand new Pink Gold colour. A WiFi-only version of the tablet will cost €230, while a WiFi+LTE version will cost €280.
