Pakistan and Turkey to develop Satellite projects jointly

SUPARCO Pakistan and Turkey Aerospace Industries (TAI) have signed an agreement to work together on space and satellite projects. The executive and national space agency of Pakistan is SUPARCO Pakistan (Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission).

Under the agreement reached on Wednesday, Turkish media reports that SUPARCO Pakistan and TAI Turkey will collaborate on electric communication satellites and other space activities.

In addition, TAI tweeted, “We have inked a cooperation arrangement with SUPARCO to develop satellite projects. “We hope the two countries have a successful year.”

In addition, TAI opened its first Pakistani office in the National Science and Technology Park in December 2019.

For its SmallGEO satellite, TAI CEO Temel Kotil disclosed at the Satellite Technologies Week in December that they are seeking new customers. According to Daily Sabah, a satellite communications platform powered by electricity.
