In a post to its various social media accounts, PITB made the announcement.
Pakistan Expo Centres Private Limited is a joint venture between the federal and provincial governments of Pakistan, which owns a majority stake in the company. The purpose of the company is to develop and manage Expo Centers in major Pakistani cities in order to promote various sectors of the economy via trade exhibitions, consumer fairs, and conferences.

It was the Expo Centre in Lahore that was the company’s first project, and it has been operating successfully since 2010. The company is now working on the development of an Expo Centre in Peshawar, and preparations for an Expo Center in Quetta have also begun.
