For the first time ever, Prime Minister Imran Khan will travel to Haripur today (Monday) to lay the foundation stone for the Pakistan Digital City Special Technology Zone.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and federal and provincial ministers will accompany the prime minister.

It is estimated that the Pakistan Digital City will cost Rs1.31 billion to build and be spread out across an area of 86 kanals.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is launching a flagship project called Pakistan Digital City Haripur, which aims to bring together all of the IT industry’s facilities under one roof.

Collaborations and innovation between academics, researchers, industry, and planners from both inside and outside of the country will be fostered by the initiative.
