Islamabad Police launches Online Complaint System

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Department has created an online Complaint Management System (CMS) to assist the federal capital’s people.

In this context, Inspector General (IG) ICT Police Muhammad Ahsan Younas stated that inhabitants of Islamabad can now lodge complaints via the ICT Police CMS from any location.

Until now, residents were required to make an in-person visit to the concerned Police Station to record their concerns. While this option is still available, it is no longer required following the CMS’s debut.

Citizens may file the following categories of complaints with the CMS:

FIR registration
Reservation pending further inquiry
Complaint about public officials
Women’s and children’s crime
Complaint about traffic
Additionally, foreigners, abroad Pakistanis, and people of other cities can use the CMS to file grievances.

After the complaint is filed, it will be forwarded to the appropriate Police Station and will be monitored by senior ICT Police Officials.

While complainants will be notified through SMS when their complaints are successfully registered, they will also be issued with an e-tag to track the progress of their complaint.
