The Pakistani military put on a spectacular display in Islamabad to commemorate Pakistan Day.
The president, Dr. Arif Alvi, was the guest of honour at the procession. The parade field was also attended by Prime Minister Imran Khan, three service chiefs, and federal officials.

Guests of honour were the dignitaries attending the OIC’s Council of Foreign Ministers, which was meeting for the 48th time.

When the All-India Muslim League, a pro-Pakistan organisation, adopted a resolution in Lahore on March 23, 1940, it became known as Pakistan Day.

Day began with a 31-gun salute in federal capital and a 21-gun salute in provincial capitals around the country.
