Qurat Ul Ain Iqrar, who began her career in electronic media around 2008 or 2009, established herself as a respected news anchor for many years. A graduate in Urdu literature, she later transitioned from her media role to focus on her family, including her son Pehlaaj. Currently, she is an educator at Lahore Grammar School and frequently features in vlogs and podcasts hosted by Farah Iqrar and Aroosa Iqrar, maintaining her public presence.
Recounting the pivotal moment, Qurat Ul Ain Iqrar explained that she first met Iqrar Ul Hassan at school. “He was a debate coach, and I was an Urdu teacher, so we used to have frequent interactions regarding debates,” she stated. Their shared responsibilities often led to them travelling together when accompanying students to competitions. She fondly recalled, “My first meeting with Iqrar was at LGS. He has been with me since my teaching days, and after that, he became a part of my life, and we are still together.” She highlighted their mutual interests in Urdu literature, poetry, and their shared profession as key factors in their connection.
She further elaborated that when they both joined ARY News, their marital status remained a secret to most colleagues. However, their secret was eventually revealed when they were found living in the same apartment in Dubai.
