PCB plans to bring 40% of the spectators to the stadium in PSL 6

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formulated a plan of action to ensure spectator participation in the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

 The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League will begin on February 20 at the National Stadium in Karachi, where it was initially decided to hold matches in a closed stadium due to the corona virus.
In view of the improving situation during the second wave of corona virus in the country, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials have come up with a plan to allow a limited number of spectators to come to the stadium to watch the matches.
 In this regard, the top officials of the PCB will meet the officials of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) next week and the Chief Executive of the PCB Wasim Khan will also share the plan regarding the arrival of cricket fans at the stadium Will do
 The PCB plans to bring 40% of the spectators to the stadium in PSL 6 and will take care of the social distance and Corona SOPs inside the stadium.
 The final decision on the arrival of spectators at the stadium will be made with the permission of the NCOC and the government.
It should be noted that the corona virus has badly affected sports competitions around the world and many sports competitions were canceled last year due to this reason.
 Due to the corona virus, many competitions, including the Olympics, Euro Cup, Confederations Cup, Wimbledon and T20 World Cup, were postponed or canceled until next year.
 The remaining matches of the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League, which was postponed due to corona virus, were also held in empty fields.
Later, in various international competitions, including cricket, a limited number of spectators were allowed to come to the stadium to ensure the presence of spectators on the playing fields to enhance the game.
 After various experiments, Pakistan Cricket Board officials have also planned to bring a limited number of spectators to the stadium in the PSL, but now it depends on the virus situation in the country and government permission.
