Pakistani television screen icon Veena Malik has officially returned to small screens as the anchor of 24 News HD‘s brand-new morning show, Veena Hai Na. Stepping into the daytime slot following the conclusion of Morning with Fiza Ali, the daily broadcast focuses on pressing societal matters, featuring expert panellists to discuss health, education, human rights, and student achievements. However, her high-profile screen return quickly sparked widespread conversation across social media networks as viewers took notice of her visibly transformed appearance.
Having built a formidable career across film and television, the star first captured nation-wide acclaim through political satire shows like Hum Sab Umeed Se Hain alongside hit cinematic releases such as Muhabbatan Sachiyan, Tere Pyar Main, and Salakhain. She further expanded her international celebrity profile with memorable television ventures like the sitcom Misfit and a headline-making stint on the Indian reality series Bigg Boss. Over the years, her sharp comic timing, bold persona, and versatile hosting capabilities have cemented her standing as one of the country’s most recognizable media figures.
During recent episodes of Veena Hai Na, viewers observed a noticeable physical transformation, with many highlighting her fuller cheeks and weight gain after a long period out of the limelight. The visual change triggered immediate buzz online, prompting netizens to share mixed commentary; while some fans affectionately noted she resembles the late culinary legend Zubaida Aapa, others urged her to hit the gym or reflected on how time alters every celebrity’s public image. Despite the scrutiny regarding her changed appearance, dedicated supporters showered the veteran presenter with unconditional love, praising her decision to helm a meaningful show centered on genuine social challenges.
