Senior Pakistani actress, director and producer Sakina Simmons, who made her directorial debut last year with the feature film 'Intezar', has now announced her second film.
Her film could not be released in Pakistan due to the global outbreak of corona virus, but 'Intezar' was very popular globally. Recently, Sakina Simmons won the Pride of Performance and now she has announced her next project.
Sakina Simmons has announced her next film and said that actors Shehryar Munawar, Asad Siddiqui and Humaima Malik will act in her upcoming film. In a post shared on Instagram, Sakina Simmons said, "By the grace of God, I am announcing the details of my next film."
"I am very happy to announce that Shehryar Munawar Siddiqui and Asad Siddiqui have joined the certified cast," She said.
In another post shared on Instagram, Sakina Simmons, while announcing the lead actress of her film, said that Humaima Malik will also act in her film. Apart from the cast of the film, Sakina Simmons also shared some details of its story.
Sakina Simmons further wrote in her post that she is proud to direct a story based on the interior of Sindh.
She said that his upcoming film is a love story which is actually being made inspired by true events and characters. Sakina Simmons added that this is the script I have been thinking about for decades and finally I wrote it down on paper.
However, Sakina Simmons did not reveal the name of her upcoming film or the release date.
