Rey Mysterio will be on the cover of the Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game’s latest Edition. 2K Games has also stated that Mysterio would have a career highlight in the future game. If you’re unfamiliar with the showcase mode, it allows players to relive major battles and events in a wrestler’s career in a documentary format. 2k22 New Modes
2K Games has also announced two new game modes for WWE 2K22: MyGM and MyFACTION. Players can take on the role of a WWE General Manager in MyGM and make decisions from behind the scenes. MyGM will provide players with a unique experience, from drafting the roster to creating memorable rivalries and championship showdowns. MyFACTION mode, on the other hand, will allow players to acquire and manage their ideal faction through weekly events and regular updates, all of which will provide a high level of replayability.
After a brief absence, 2K Games hopes to give a new experience to players with WWE 2K22. Following the dismal debut of WWE 2K20, WWE went two decades without releasing a new game. The game was plagued by bugs and was regarded as a step down from WWE 2K19, which was released a year prior. On March 11, 2022, the next WWE 2K22 will be released. It will be released for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
