Junaid Safdar and Ayesha Saif Khan were married in a grand affair that spanned several days and events. Ayesha is the daughter of former National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Saifur Rehman Khan who is a close ally of the Sharif family. The wedding was seen as a happy occasion for the Mian family, who had faced many hardships and challenges in the past few years.
However, the marriage did not last long, as rumours of their divorce started circulating on social media for a few days. Junaid Safdar finally confirmed the news in his Instagram story on October 12, putting an end to the speculations.

Junaid Safdar wrote in his Instagram story that he and Ayesha have mutually decided to end their marriage and that it is a personal matter. He also requested the media to respect his privacy and refrain from sensationalizing the issue. He said that he hopes that the divorce will bring peace and happiness to both of them and that he wishes his ex-wife well.
He also clarified that he does not want to discuss the matter any further and that he expects everyone to respect his decision. He did not reveal the reason behind the divorce or any other details about their relationship.
