Pakistani actress Saba Faisal and YouTuber Rajab Butt have reunited on screen for an upcoming film, marking their first collaboration in nearly a decade. The duo, who previously worked together on the Geo TV drama series Rani, are currently filming in Chiniot, Punjab, under the direction of Faisal Bukhari.
Rajab Butt, a prominent Pakistani YouTuber, initially rose to fame through his family vlogging content. Despite occasional controversies surrounding his personal life, he maintains a significant online presence with over 9 million subscribers on YouTube and 3 million followers on Instagram. His transition into acting for this new film alongside veteran actress Saba Faisal has generated considerable buzz among his dedicated fanbase.
During a recent vlog interview conducted by Rajab, Saba Faisal shared her excitement about working with him again. She noted, “We have been shooting together after years, I guess. We worked in Rani on Geo TV, and it was almost 9 to 10 years ago.” Faisal praised the film’s script, management, and director Faisal Bukhari, adding a special commendation for Rajab’s acting prowess. “We had filmed an emotional scene, and Rajab performed 10/10. By the end of the film, he will be a master in acting,” she stated, highlighting his natural talent. Rajab reciprocated, crediting Saba’s compelling emotional performance and authentic tears for facilitating his own delivery in the scene. He also reminisced about Rani, describing it as a big-budget Geo TV production with a star-studded cast including Sahiba, Babar Ali, Sangeeta, Saleem Sheikh, and Kinza Hashmi, filmed in Muridke.
With Amar Khan cast as the leading lady alongside Rajab Butt, the film promises to be an intriguing addition to Pakistani cinema.
