Ever since the handsome hunk Yasir Hussain revealed his first look from his upcoming telefilm ‘Help me Durdana’, it became the talk of the town.
The actor will be essaying the role of a mother but most of the netizens thought that he will be playing a transgender and that irked quite a few people.
While many applauded the actor for choosing an unconventional character, many have also criticized him calling this an act of ‘cheap publicity’.
The ‘Karachi Se Lahore’ actor faced the heat when one of his followers pointed out why not a real transgender was hired to portray the role to which he replied:
Matlab aap ko job chahiye? (That means you want the job?)
Later, the actor took to his Instagram account to apologize and said that his role has nothing to do with humiliating or mocking anyone.
