The recently released movie of Bollywood hunk Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif ‘Bharat’ claimed the top position at the Indian box office.
The makers of the film have been receiving love and appreciation on the other side of the border for giving the message of peace between India and Pakistan.
Based on Romance, drama, action, emotion, and laughter, Bharat managed to leave the viewers teary-eyed while bringing back the memories of the Partition.
After the success of his movie, the Sultan actor also decided to share his family’s memories during the partition.
While talking to an Indian publication, Salman Khan said:
I asked my father what were his memories of the partition. One of his sisters who was married had to move to Pakistan with her husband. She and her family lived in Karachi.
He further added:
She was the only one who went there, but I think she was not happy leaving the country. But she was happy there.
