Last weekend, it was announced that the royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton will be visiting Pakistan in the second half of the year.
The announcement was made by Kensington Palace through its social media account with the caption:
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will undertake an official visit to Pakistan this autumn, at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Further details will be advised in due course.

Soon after the tweet, almost every Pakistani extended a warm welcome to the Royals. A number of celebrities like Mehwish Hayat and Veena Malik also expressed their gratitude over their visit.
The Load Wedding actress Mehwish Hayat took to her Twitter account and wrote:
