A new drama “Uran” recently launched on Geo Tv which is produced by Leading Seventh Sky producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. The first episode of the drama was aired yesterday which was very much liked by the TV viewers. “Uran” is the story of three siblings Malaka, Aqeel and Minhal.
The eldest of them is a queen who only obeys her heart and has high aspirations in life. Although she is engaged, she has no interest in her fiance Asim. Then there is Aqeel, who is always looking for shortcuts in everything. The youngest of these siblings is Manhal, who believes in hard work and has her own preferences over her elders. The Queen and Aqeel often make wrong decisions and fall prey to greed.
Geo’s play “Uran” deals with topics such as greed, infidelity and deception, which has been cleverly written by Jahanzeb Qamar and well-directed by Aqeel Khan.
The cast includes actors Adeel Chaudhry, Nida Mumtaz, Lubna Aslam, Aini Zaidi and Mohammad Osama Khan.
