Motorcycle maker United Motors introduced its first car, the Bravo, in late 2018 to compete with the then-popular Suzuki Mehran, which was powered by an 800cc engine.
Now the company has introduced another small but more powerful vehicle United Alpha 2021, which has also been named as Pakistan’s first car of 2021.
According to the reports, this vehicle has been assembled in Pakistan and it will be available in all major cities of Pakistan. The 1,000cc car was unveiled at an online event in Lahore on the night of January 2.
This car is powered by a 993 cc 4 cylinder engine. The 1.0L engine is capable of delivering 69 horsepower and has a manual transmission system, the automatic version will be introduced sometime during the first half of 2021.
This car will directly compete with Suzuki Wagon R, Suzuki Cultus, Kia Pecanto and it is also cheaper than these three. It is basically a Chinese car Cherry QQ which has been named Alpha in Pakistan.
Features of this car include power steering, power windows, 13 inch alloy wheels, LCD camera, reverse camera, ABS brake system and other notable features.
The company said it plans to introduce three sedans, SUVs and vans in the near future. Similarly, 2 electric vehicles will also be introduced in Pakistan. United Alpha will be sold for Rs. 1.395 million in Pakistan.
