Model and actress Sadaf Kanwal has said that she is tired of modeling and now she wants to act.
Speaking on Nashpati Prime’s YouTube show ‘By the Way’, in response to a question, Sadaf Kanwal revealed that girls in the media industry smoke. She went on to admit that she had been a smoker herself, but had stopped smoking for seven months.
“Apart from the media, ordinary housewives also smoke, even those who speak out against smoking,” said Sadaf Kanwal. According to the model and actress, she has seen girls in dupattas smoking cigarettes while going to a normal hotel.
In response to a question, Sadaf Kanwal said that many boys came in her life but she knows the art of persuading boys and keeping them away from her.
During the interview, Sadaf Kanwal also talked about her professional life and said that she is tired of modeling, now she wants to act and it is her dream to get the Best Actress award like the Best Model award.
According to her, a person should come to the big screen only when he finds a good director for the job and at the same time he also knows acting, because not every face is for the big screen.
Citing an example, Sadaf Kanwal said that Sajjal Ali’s face is not suitable for movies but for dramas, because if she works in films she will look like a young girl. According to the actress, she wants to work in films and whenever she is offered a good role, she will definitely work.
Referring to the item song in ‘Namaloon Afrad 2’, she said that she is a good dancer and she had a lot of fun performing in ‘Cafe o Saroor’. At the same time, the actress said that although she learned a lot while singing the item, people abused her for singing such a song.
Sadaf Kanwal also spoke about her personal life during the interview and said that she belongs to Hazara area and she was born in Balakot but she moved to Karachi with her family at an early age.
The actress also spoke about her controversial statement regarding the Ali Zafar and Mesha Shafi case and claimed that she wanted to say something else but her words were interpreted differently.
Sadaf Kanwal quoted what she said on the HSY show in December 2018, in which she said that she never had a ‘Me Too’ thing and if it happened to her, she would tell everyone at once. She will not mention ‘Me Too’ on social media later.
The actress was also criticized for the statement, but now the actress, while talking about it, claimed that she wanted to explain and say something else, but her words were taken to mean something else.
During the program, Sadaf Kanwal also spoke to the host in her mother tongue Hindko. In response to a question, Sadaf Kanwal said that she did not know Mawra Hussain.
She advised Sajjal Ali to grow her hair longer, Mehwish Hayat to lose weight and Maya Ali to gain weight. Sadaf Kanwal also advised Hamza Ali Abbasi to lose weight, similarly she advised Imran Abbas to apply less make-up while Sheheryar Munawar was asked to grow up now.
