The company celebrated its 60th anniversary of doing business in Pakistan with a special ceremony at its Sheikhupura factory. The event was attended by Shinji Aoyama, Executive Vice President of Honda Motor Company, Abe Noriaki, Chief Officer of Motorcycle and Power Products, and others.

In his speech, Abe Noriaki said that Honda’s products have become a part of the daily lives of a large segment of the Pakistani population. He also announced the introduction of Honda’s electric motorcycle, Honda e Benly, on a trial basis in Pakistan.

Saquib H. Shirazi, President and CEO of Atlas Honda, presented an overview of the company’s performance, highlighting its sales, localization, parts business, employment, and tax contribution to the national exchequer.

What is Honda e Benly?

Honda e Benly is an electric scooter that is designed for business use. It has a simple and compact body that is easy to maneuver in urban traffic. It is powered by two Honda Mobile Power Packs, which are detachable and rechargeable batteries that can be swapped at charging stations. The scooter has a range of about 87 km on a single charge and a top speed of 53 km/h. It also features a digital display, LED lights, and a large rear carrier.
