Currently, WhatsApp email verification is the new feature for enhancement of security. This is one of the latest features that is being tested by a small group of beta users.

WhatsApp Email verification gives users flexibility to confirm their WhatsApp accounts by using their email addresses. This WhatsApp security feature aims to enhance the security of WhatsApp accounts, making it more difficult for hackers or scammers to access them without the user’s consent.

Email verification can also help users recover their accounts in case they lose their phones or forget their passwords. By providing an email address, users can receive a verification code or a link to reset their accounts.

How does email verification work on WhatsApp?

According to some reports from beta testers, the email verification on WhatsApp is very simple and straightforward. Users will simply need to enter their email addresses and wait for a verification message with no additional steps.

To enable email verification, you will need to go to Settings > Account > Two-step verification > Email address. You can also change or remove your email address at any time.

The feature is currently in a limited testing phase and has not been officially announced by WhatsApp. However, it is expected to become available to all users in the near future.

What other features is WhatsApp working on?

WhatsApp is also working on other features, including multiple user profiles in a single account, the ability to log in with an email, video navigation options, message pinning, and the capability to send media as documents to maintain quality on iOS devices.
