Young actress Mahnoor Sheikh recently shared a candid account of her unpleasant experience with senior star Sana Javed, shedding light on alleged arrogance during a TVC shoot.
In a recent appearance on Nadia Khan’s morning show Rise and Shine, rising star Mahnoor Sheikh candidly discussed an uncomfortable encounter with prominent actress Sana Javed. The young actress recounted an incident during a television commercial (TVC) shoot where Javed’s alleged arrogance created an unpleasant environment for her and other junior artists.

Mahnoor Sheikh has steadily made her mark in the Pakistani entertainment industry as a model, actress, and digital creator. Known for her roles in drama series like Deewar Khwabon Mein Mili, Nalaiq, and Mohabbat Reza Reza, all aired on Hum TV, she is currently garnering significant acclaim for her performance in the popular drama Deewar. During the show, Sheikh elaborated on the incident, stating that she and two other girls were cast as friends alongside Sana Javed in a TVC. They were initially assigned a shared vanity room with a partition. However, upon Javed’s arrival, she allegedly refused to share the space, demanding, “I can’t sit with them. Get them out. I will sit alone.” Consequently, the junior artists were moved to another room that lacked air conditioning. Sheikh described Javed’s overall demeanor as consistently rude, even amidst the challenging conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected everyone on set. She felt justified in sharing her experience, noting that multiple industry professionals later corroborated similar accounts of Javed’s behavior.
This revelation by Mahnoor Sheikh has reignited discussions within the industry about professional conduct and respect on set. What are your thoughts on celebrity behavior towards co-stars, and how do you think such situations should be addressed?
