It is Ramadan again and Aamir Liaquat has taken over our social media feeds.
This time, the televangelist is hosting PTV’s Ramadan transmission ‘Humara Ramazan’ and has once again made it to the news for being reportedly fired for misbehavior with staff members.
However, Aamir nipped the rumor in the bud by citing the news as a smear campaign.
Social media has however united against him as Liaquat cracked an ‘inappropriate joke’ live on National TV.
This video from yesterday’s episode of ‘Humara Ramazan’ being deemed unsuitable, especially family and young children watching the transmission.

Popular comedian and actor, Ali Gul Pir was the first to take notice of the viral clip and reminded Aamir Liaquat that he was hosting a Ramadan transmission.
Simply we should report him and ban his show , he is definitely not a right person to conduct ramzan transmission @ImranKhanPTI please replace him 🙏🙏🙏

Social media is furious that the scholar-turned-host didn’t respect the sanctity of the holy month.
Allah has blessed you with respect, name and fame. Think before you speak man, go back to old days of Aalim Online…

They are also questioning PTV’s choice in selecting Aamir Liaquat as a host for the show.

Last year, Liaquat was banned from hosting the Ramadan transmission and game show on BOL after he got into a heated religious debate with the scholars on his show.

Earlier in 2017, the Islamabad High Court had banned the anchor from appearing on any Pakistani television channel over accusations of ‘hate speech’.
In 2016, he was banned from hosting Ramadan show “Inam Ghar” on Geo Entertainment for three days in which he had unpleasantly re-enacted the suicide of a girl.
Yet again, a social media movement is gearing up to ban the host.
Will PEMRA take action against him? Let’s wait and watch
