Showbiz Celebrities demands Public Hanging of Rapists

Showbiz celebrities have demanded the public execution of the rapists who gang-raped a woman on the Lahore Motorway.

A tragic incident took place with a woman resident of Gujranwala on Lahore Motorway yesterday when her car ran out of petrol on the Lahore Motorway at night. They broke glass and took them to the fields at gunpoint, where they were gang-raped.

Showbiz artists also expressed sympathy for the woman and demanded public execution of the accused. Here are tweets of famous Pakistani celebrities demanding justice and capital punishment of rapists.

Addressing Prime Minister Imran Khan in his tweet, actor Feroz Khan said, “I will always support your statement that Pakistan will definitely become a state of Madinah. But if we do not hang rapists and killers in public nothing will ever change. You have to set an example for others in this regard and that is my demand.

– I will always count on your statement that Pakistan will be “Riasat e Madina” and if you don’t hang these monsters raping and killing children and women in the open nothing can ever be changed … just make one example. Public execution is what I demand @ImranKhanPTI

– a trial in such cases are useless.. it should only be execution every Friday after the Jummah prayer. That’s RIASTE E MADINA for me.

Actress Ashna Shah also supported Feroz Khan’s demand and demanded public execution of the accused.

The irony that I tweeted “im okay with this” to a video of a rapist being stoned to death an hour prior to news of mother raped in front of children on motorway & 2 days after news of 5yr old Marwa shows how deep in trouble we are as a society.

Singer Asim Azhar presented his position in his tweet using the hashtag ‘PublicHangingofRapists’.

Mother of two gang raped in front of her kids (she’d run out of gas on the motorway). Two men broke through her windows, dragged her into the bushes to brutalise her. pic.twitter.com/ZzluWbeoPF

Please investigate this as well:

‘She called the Motorway Police’s emergency helpline 130 for assistance. However, she was told by the operator that she could not be provided help as the emergency beat had not been assigned to anyone.’ https://t.co/kEAKIEFX0p

Everyone will talk like every damn time and this very minute another rape is taking place and just like every time we write about it and then it trends and becomes a hashtag. But then what? Then another Rape happens. Then another. Then another #motorwayincident

Is this how we protect the women of our country, by posting blame at them? Outraged at not just what happened, but also the current response to this barbaric incident. Justice should be swift and equal for EVERYONE. Even more so for the women of this country! #motorwayincident

— Ali Rehman Khan (@alirehmankhan) September 10, 2020

The first crime is committed by the rapist.
The second by those who blame the woman.
The third by the officials who do nothing.
And the fourth by those who say nothing.

The only one blameless in entirety is the victim.
