Finally after 10 days, it has been decided to revive China’s popular lip-syncing app TikTok in Pakistan. The decision was taken after assurances were received. TikTok administration has agreed to set up a local mechanism to prevent unethical and inappropriate content. It may be recalled that the PTA had announced a ban on tiktok on October 9. The PTA had said that various sections of the society should be kept under surveillance for immoral content and suspend such accounts.
