According to details, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid while talking to media in Islamabad said that the present government has made historic decisions regarding passports. He said that the government of Pakistan has decided to issue new passports and new passports will be launched from April 28, 2021.
Elaborating on the passport, the Home Minister said that the country’s poor would be issued a valid passport for 10 years at a fee of Rs 3,000. He clarified that the official red passports have not been replaced. However, those going to the Middle East will be issued passports for 10 years.
On this occasion, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given us a target of 120 days, we are going to start “e-service” all over the world from January 1. Passport SMS service will be started from today. However, it will take some time for the team to issue passports online.
Criticizing the opposition, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is the root cause of the riots, but Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s name is at the top of the list of 20 politicians whose lives are in danger.
It should be kept in mind that there are about one lakh people in the passport blacklist which will be reduced to twenty five thousand and for this all the people except those involved in crimes will be removed from the blacklist.
