Pakistani television (PTV) and TV One will soon air a drama which will be focusing on human trafficking, prostitution and child abuse, including abuse of women.
Actors like Samira Mumtaz, Noman Ijaz, Wahaj Ali and Umair Rana along with Yasira Rizvi and Yumna Zaidi will also be seen in action in ‘Dil Na Umeed Tu Nahin’.
Dil Na Umeed Tu Nahin teaser is being highly appreciated by the audience and the story of the play is being described as unique. Yasir Rizvi, the lead actress of the drama, said that she and Yumna Zaidi will be seen playing the role of prostitutes working at a high level.
She claimed that the story of ‘Dil Na Umeed Tu Nahin’ is different from ordinary TV serials. Viewers will be able to see how children are exploited in the country and how girls are trafficked at an early ag e foe Prostitution. Many important characters will be shown in ‘Dil Naumid To Nahi’ and the teaser released also reveals the social issues highlighted in the play.
Regarding the story of the play and the team, actress Yumna Zaidi said that initially she was very worried that she would be seen playing the role of a prostitute in the play. However, she later realized that his role was not that of a prostitute but that of a village girl named Allah Rakhi, who was trafficked at an early age.
Amna Mufti has written the story of ‘Dil Na Omeed To Nahi’ and it will be aired simultaneously on PTV and TV One from January 18 this month.
