 The management of Spotify, the world’s largest audio streaming music website, has announced that the website’s services will soon be introduced in Pakistan.

Spotify is one of the largest audio streaming websites in the world, but it also provides video streaming services. The company also hosts music festivals and podcast shows on Spotify. Podcast shows are called digital programs, the word is derived from the words broadcast and iPod.

Podcasts are digital programs that are not only broadcast online but can also be listened to by downloading and transferring files from one place to another.

Shows and programs on radio, TV, streaming websites and digital platforms in recent years are called podcasts. Spotify is known for its podcast shows and the delivery of high quality music in various languages ​​around the world.

Just last year, it was rumored that Spotify would launch its services in Pakistan by 2022, and now the management has confirmed this news. Spotify confirmed in a tweet on February 22 that the services of the music streaming website will soon be launched in Pakistan as well.

According to the tweet, in the next few days, website services will be launched in Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Asian countries, including Sri Lanka, the Middle East, the United States, Africa and many European countries. Overall, Spotify will launch services in more than 80 new countries around the world in the coming weeks, but it is not clear when it will launch its services in Pakistan.

Although ‘Spotify’ services are not available in Pakistan, songs by several Pakistani singers and musicians are available on the website and recently young singer Asim Azhar’s song ‘Ghalat Fahmi’ was included in the top 10 songs.

Asim Azhar tweeted on February 13 that his popular song ‘Ghalat Fahmi’ is the first song of any Pakistani singer which has been included in the list of 10 best songs of ‘Spotify’.

Spotify is a Swedish-based business company headquartered in the United States and Sweden, and was initially introduced only in Sweden in 2006 and later in 2009 in United Kingdom and United States.

Spotify currently provides services in most of the US and European countries, but the website’s services are also available in rich countries around the world.

Basically, Spotify offers three types of services, including free streaming, mid-fee and premium fee services.
