Cheetay won the “Best Social Media Campaign (Instagram)” award at the Pakistan Digital Awards (PDA) – the leading awards for excellence in digital marketing.
The fastest growing NOW-Commerce platform was recognised for its nationwide Instagram campaign, #LetsEatIn. The campaign featured diverse influencers, including a dentist, a deaf YouTuber, and a working mother, who used food to express themselves.
“This award is a testament to the creativity and hard work we put into developing a campaign with a socially responsible message,” said Maha Shah, Head of Public Relations & Social Impact Programs, Cheetay. “We thank the jury for this honour and for recognising our effort.”
“This campaign celebrated special moments between friends and family during the lockdown, demonstrating that, despite COVID-19 restrictions, getting food, groceries, and milk has never been easier. Cheetay is a lifestyle app that gives you unparalleled convenience.”
Commenting on the award, Ashifa Paracha, Founder, PDA, said, “The Pakistan Digital Awards were created as a platform to recognise emerging talent and innovative social media campaigns. To create a level playing field for all, we have a fair pitching and selection process. It’s wonderful to see Cheetay win this well-deserved award for their engaging campaign with a powerful message that one can still order in and enjoy shared moments with their loved ones despite the pandemic”.
The jury included Zeeshan Hasib Baig, CEO & Country GM, Careem, Subul Naqvi, Head of Corporate Communications, Telenor Microfinance Bank, and other renowned industry professionals. The award ceremony was held at an open-air venue at the Andalusian Lawn DHA in Karachi following COVID-19 SOPs.
