It’s expected that 50 Block III JF-17 Thunder fighter jets will be added to Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) fleet by the end of March, and they will take part in the Pakistan Day Parade on March 23.
India’s S-400 missile system can no longer track the latest JF-17 jet because of its near-stealth features, which are combined with advanced software and radar capabilities.

In order to engage a target, the aircraft doesn’t need to be pointed in a specific direction. In order to hit a specific target, it can fire a missile from any angle, and it will automatically adjust the missile’s thrust, speed, and trajectory to suit.
Lightweight composite material allows it to carry five missiles beyond visual range, a significant improvement over earlier Block I and II models.

Detection of an enemy at a distance allows the new aircraft to conduct preemptive strikes. This is made possible by an improved liquid-cooled airborne fire control radar system, which enables the jet to detect and engage an enemy aircraft from 170 kilometres away.
JF-17 Block III – Details
Supersonic, multi-role fighter aircraft, the JF-17 Block III is a part of the 4+ generation. Long-range maritime strikes and standoff range precision ground strikes are all within its scope. It can also carry out anti-radiation SEAD/DEAD missions and engage in electronic warfare while operating beyond visual range.
With an operational range of more than 170 kilometres, its primary weapon is the PL-15 active radar-guided long-range air-to-air missile. The PL-10 IR missile, a short-range air-to-air missile with an operational range of 20 kilometres, is its secondary weapon.
