She spotted Arshad Khan at his tea stall and asked him if she could take his picture. He agreed, and she posted the photo on her Instagram account with the caption “Hot-tea”.

The launch of Chaiwala Cafe

“I launched the Chaiwala Cafe, in fact, one cafe was more than enough for me but I launched the whole brand in my name because I wanted people to earn bread and butter through my business, I wanted to create more jobs, now, we have many franchises. Each franchise has twenty five to thirty workers,” he said in an interview.

Arshad Khan also expanded his business internationally, after he found out that some people were using his name and photo to open fake cafes in London and Finland. He decided to open his own original franchises there, and received a warm welcome from his fans. He said that he was happy to see that people from different cultures and backgrounds enjoyed his tea and appreciated his story.

“I have cafes in London and Finland. Indians and Pakistanis used to call me and say that they are sitting in my cafe in London, I didn’t have any cafe in London back then, so I decided to open the original franchise,” he said.

Arshad Khan is an inspiring example of how one photo can change someone’s life for the better. He is not only a viral chaiwala, but also a global entrepreneur who is making a positive impact on society.
