Recently, the legendary Pakistani actress Saba Hameed made headlines after her candid appearance on Tabish Hashmi‘s popular Ramzan special show, Hasna Mana Hai. During the episode, the veteran star openly discussed a challenging moment from the set of her hit drama, Fitoor, where she was compelled to deliver a genuine slap to her co-star, Hiba Bukhari.

With a career spanning over 40 years, Saba Hameed stands as a pillar of the Pakistani media industry, gracing screens in countless memorable dramas. Her extensive filmography includes iconic titles like Family Front, Mere Humsafar, Pyare Afzal, and the recent critically acclaimed Main Manto Nahi Hoon. Currently, she continues to captivate audiences with her impeccable performance in Geo TV‘s drama series, Ishq Mein. Fans can follow her journey and updates on her official Instagram: Saba Hameed.

Addressing the incident, Saba Hameed revealed her usual technique for on-screen violence: ‘I don’t slap for real in dramas because I am a master of cheating the shot.’ However, she explained that the director’s insistence for authenticity led to an exception. What can I do if the director keeps insisting that I perform a real slap scene for originality? It was his request, so I had to slap her. I did slap her and then apologized as well,’ she recounted. She admitted the slap was ‘quite a hard slap because I can’t cheat when I am asked to do it for real,’ emphasizing the discomfort of such a requirement for any actor.
