The actress took to her Instagram account and posted a number of photos where she can be seen holding the Pakistani flag during the shooting of her Item number in an upcoming movie.

Her snaps raised many eyebrows In India and people just couldn’t stop bashing her. Recently, the actress lashed out at Indian reporters during a press conference when she was asked about her controversial pictures.
The starlet said:
Why do you only target the artists and not the prime minister? Don’t you remember how two years ago Indian Prime Minister Modi went to Pakistan without an invitation to meet ex-Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif. Nobody stopped him.
She further added:
Our own tennis star Sania Mirza is married there. Nobody questions her.
Rakhi also clarified her stance and said:
I love my India but it’s my character in the film Dhara 370 in which I am playing the role of a Pakistani girl. Every Pakistani is not bad. Every Muslim is not bad.
