The wait is finally over for thousands of students who appeared for the matric exams in Punjab this year. The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) have announced the results of the annual exams for class 10 on Monday, July 31, 2023.
How to Check Your Matric Results 2023
You can check your matric results 2023 online by visiting the websites of your respective boards. There are nine BISEs in Punjab, namely Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, and Sahiwal.

You can check your results by entering your roll number or by searching by name. You can also send a text message to the boards to get your results via SMS. The details of the SMS service are available on the websites of each board.
Matric Results 2023 Statistics
According to the official data released by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons (PBCC), a total of 1,317,000 candidates appeared for the matric exams this year, out of which 1,062,000 passed with a passing percentage of 80.64%.
The highest passing percentage was recorded by Dera Ghazi Khan Board with 86.73%, followed by Bahawalpur Board with 82.70%, and Faisalabad Board with 81.76%. The lowest passing percentage was recorded by Lahore Board with 74.57%.
The top three positions in each board were secured by both male and female students from various schools and colleges across Punjab. The names and marks of the position holders were announced in a ceremony held at the PBCC office in Lahore on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
The PBCC also announced that the results for class 9 will be declared on August 22, 2023. The class 9 exams were held from April 18 to May 19, 2023.
